I woke up yesterday to my six-year-old saying, "Mommy!! It's December!! Yesterday, it was November, but now it's December!" Kids seem infinitely excited about the passing of seasons. Adults, though, we seem consistently surprised. How often do you hear some version of, "Can you believe it's December already?! Where did the year go?"
