She is very active advocating for diabetes research, funding,and works to spread understanding and awareness of the disease. Her JDRF Walk team raises thousand of dollars each year to contribute to these efforts. It is not easy...however, nothing slows her down. She is also very active in sports, playing softball, basketball, and golf. She (we) will be doing lots of hiking over the summer. #2 would fit her needs to a tee!"
