Do I Need To Wear A Medical ID?

Who needs to wear a medical ID bracelet?  If you’ve been diagnosed with a chronic condition, have food or drug allergies or take medications then you should wear a medical alert.

Conditions Requiring Medical Identification include:

  • Diabetes
  • Heart Conditions
  • Gastric Bypass/Lap Band Patients
  • Breast Cancer/Lymphedema
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Seizure Disorders
  • Heart Stents/Pacemakers
  • On Blood Thinners including Coumadin
  • Allergies to Peanuts/Tree Nuts/Wheat/Dairy
  • Allergies to Stinging Insects
  • Penicillin Allergy
  • Sulfa Allergy
  • Adrenal Insufficiency
  • Hypertension
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Autism
  • Epilepsy

Any of these conditions may alter the treatment you might normally receive.  Let your medical identification jewelry speak for you when you can’t.  A quick diagnoses of your condition will lead to faster and more effective treatment. Your medical alert bracelet or medical ID necklace will alert doctors, nurses and EMT’s of your medical history so time is not wasted.

Here at Lauren’s Hope we make beautiful medical identification jewelry you’ll be happy to wear. Our line of medical alerts include trendy, fun medical ID’s designed for kids and those young at heart as well as classic, dressy jewelry for more formal occasions. Our INTER-CHANGEABLE medical ID bracelet strands have a lobster clasp at each end which attaches to the medical alert tag that’s custom engraved with your unique medical information. You can have one tag that attaches to any medical bracelet of your choice in order to coordinate with your outfit. Click HERE to see what others are saying about our medical jewelry.

I am a 4 year old little girl that is deaf. I have cochlear implants to help me hear. I love the braclet I wear with the little lamb on it. I would love to have the sherbert bead one so I can change to a different one sometimes. It is pretty cause it has all colors in it

I am a 12 year old boy with congenital heart disease. Although I am cleared for most all sports - I feel more comfortable with my ID bracelet on when my parents are not there. I would love to have a new medical bracelet. I like the ones that are velcro and water proof. My mom keeps sewing my old one back together. I like the one in camo or the new leather one.

Awesone--Laurens's Hope has a most unique, innovativly spiritual inventory of hand made medical ID bracelets I have ever seen. MY choice d'jour would be the Montana Medical ID Bracelet--really different, stylish & cool.

We have been huge fans of Lauren's Hope since my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes almost 2 years ago. Being a girly-girl a "tween" it was important that she had medical jewlery that she would actually wear. She LOVES all her bracelets and changes them to match her outfits!
