This has been a busy week here at Lauren's Hope! We've been working hard on making sure each order is made quickly and with great care. Our entire team has been listening to your suggestions and as a result our newest medical ID's category has been updated to reflect the changing seasons. We've launched a brand new collection of glow in the dark styles, which I'll show you further on down this post AND we've received some great guest blogger article submissions!
Nearly each week Lauren's Hope hosts an giveaway event we call Free Stuff Friday. We enjoy giving back to our faithful fans and lovely blog subscribers. It is our intent that each of these medical alerts make their way to a new home where they will be worn daily in order to keep you safe.
I was able to catch up with a very special customer of ours, Molly McClure Seddeek. Molly recently left a comment on our Facebook wall letting us know that her Lauren's Hope medical ID bracelet was put to good use a few weeks ago.
If you have had gastric bypass surgery it is important to wear a medical alert bracelet to alert EMT's or first responders to your surgery. In order to treat you quickly and effectively, your medical alert bracelet should be engraved with some specific vital information.
I have several interviews and guest bloggers scheduled who have amazing information to share. Their stories will be both inspirational and informative and I'm sure all of us will find their input valuable. Do you have a story or experience that you'd like to share?
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day and was able to spend some quality time with those you love. Before we jump in to this week's Free Stuff Friday festivities I wanted to share a quick story with all of you. In the days before Valentine's Day a special order passed through our office and design department that we could tell was meant for someone truly special. This order was gift wrapped and included a special message that would change 2 lives forever. A customer of ours chose a Lauren's Hope medical ID bracelet to play a key role in proposing to his future wife! You can expect more details to come regarding this special story, but I just couldn't resist sharing the exciting news with all of you.
What to Write About? We are looking for articles that provide valuable information to those with a medical condition that subscribe to our blog. For example, the post could pertain to your personal condition, diagnosis or tips towards healthy. You could write about living with Diabetes, what you’ve learned that would be valuable for others to know, tips for handling certain situations more effectively and spreading awareness to any medical condition. The articles don’t have to be geared towards Lauren's Hope, but should relate to someone who wears a medical ID themselves, has been diagnosed with a medical condition or has a loved one who wears or should wear a medical ID alert.
Over 60 million Americans have a medical condition, which should be immediately known by first responders in the event of an emergency. Conditions such as Diabetes, Alzheimers, food allergies are just a few examples. Patients on medications such as coumadin or warfarin and those with heart disease, epilepsy, asthma or allergies to Penicillin should wear a medical ID.
Wow! What an exciting weekend the blog had. Many of you participated in Free Stuff Friday last week, which meant I had a blast reading each of your comments. We couldn't do what we do without you, and we appreciate your support!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent Facebook contest. Many of you left comments on our wall, shared with your family and friends, tweeted the good news and even posted on your blogs. The lucky winner of this contest is Maria Fitzpatrick. Maria has a wonderful blog that focuses on her weight loss surgery and her journey to become...formerly fluffy.
