Ethan was diagnosed with an anaphylactic peanut allergy when he was eighteen months old. He had a severe reaction to just a taste of peanut butter. His face turned red and blotchy with severe hives. His face and his tongue immediately began to swell and he choked and gasped for breath. In this brief moment, everything about Ethan’s life and ours changed forever.

HUGE Engraving News and a FREE List of Medical Abbreviations

engraverIMG 5937

Have you found yourself asking the question, "What's new in the Lauren's Hope engraving department?" Well, I will start with telling you what's new with the engraver. My name is Bryce and I am the master engraver here at Lauren's Hope. I'm the friendly guy who calls with questions about the medical information you'd like engraved on your medical ID tag. I ask questions like, "Can I abbreviate penicillin to PCN?" and "I'd like to suggest a better way to list your emergency contact information." The reason why I spend time calling you regarding your engraving is because I know how important all of your medical information is and I want to make sure that I engrave your vital information in the best possible way. I'm a stickler for centered and legible engraving and like making helpful suggestions. I recognize the fact that every medical ID tag is special and unique, just like you! I love knowing that I am helping people communicate their medical conditions to paramedics, EMT's and first responders in the event of an emergency. I love having a job where I feel like I am doing something important.
